A Tuiliq with a Aquatherm inner for cold conditions. Allowing optimum movement and maximum protection
Our latest Tuiliq design based on the traditions of the old Inuit garments but brought right up to date using our unique Aquatherm fabric.
The Aquatherm fabric body, arms & hood creates a thermal, waterproof, flexible, lightweight membrane with a longer body tube, allowing you to perfect your Inuit Skills.
Aquatherm cuffs for an optimum water tight seal
All our Aquatherm Tuiliqs have the following features –
- Outer Surface: Waterproof, Fast drying, UV protecting, Water shedding properties
- Comfortable surface next to the skin, Non-Allergenic material
- Seams: Stitched and waterproof seams giving optimum watertight cuff, neck & hood seals
- 'Eskimo Tears' face closure system
- Thin & lightweight making it extremely comfortable and flexible to wear
- Room can be allowed for extra layers underneath
Custom Fitting:
We will require measurements for your head, neck, chest, waist, hip, cuffs and height. We may require you to send a tracing of your cockpit outer rims (on newspaper) including your seat back position marked on. Please complete our measurement chart and submit with your order.
Please let us know both of your kayak makes and models in the options box of the measurement form.

Aquatherm® and Aquatherm Fleece®
Recommend hand washing with warm soapy water.
Turn garment inside out. Short, warm, delicate wash, max 40 degrees in mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not spin. Do not wring.
Hang garments from their cuffs and neck to ensure that if there should be any water left then it can drain away easily.
Store clean and dry indoors away from heat and direct sunlight
Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry over hot radiators or near excessive heat

How do I wash and care for my Aquatherm® and Aquatherm Fleece® garments?
For Aquatherm®, Super-stretch Aquatherm® and Aquatherm Fleece®:
- Turn the garment inside out.
- Use a short, warm, delicate wash with a maximum temp 40 degrees C° in mild soapy water .
- Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
- Do not spin.
- Do not wring.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not iron.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not dry over hot radiators or near excessive heat.
- Hang garments from their cuffs and neck to ensure that if there should be any water ingress in the double fabric seals then it can drain easily.

Funktioniert einwandfrei ist dicht bei der Rolle.
Only used it a couple of times but so far find the tuilig a great bit of kit after decades of various combos of decks, cags, neoprene etc. It is lightweight, non-restrictive, and surprisingly cool, although perhaps not something to be worn on a warm, sunny day! I have used a Chillcheater touring cag for years, but this is way more comfortable - and waterproof.
