I love Reed Chillcheater gear. I wish when I’d first started paddling I’d been introduced to Chillcheater gear at the beginning. It would have made my paddling life so much easier and more comfortable. Now I take pride in introducing the gear to my course participants.
I first met Chris when he supported me on the Ireland Circumnavigation 2010 with Sonja. I used his Aquatherm layering system for the successful trip, using the short sleeve, long sleeve and storm cag. I’d always used Reed gear prior to this, including my first ever trip, a solo circumnavigation of the Outer Hebrides in 2009.
