Reed Chillcheater Transpire fleece base layers. Polar Bears Diving - Woolly Bear undersuits & thinsulate undersuits are the first choice for many professional divers.
Bought for the colder winter coastal rowing, for when launching gig off a beach or slipway. A great solution, suitable length coming above the knee. Bought the non-fleece, since the fleece would just create unnecessary bulk - just wear toasty socks instead to keep warm.
I've been using these tops for many years for various outdoor activities, I have to say they are the best garments I have ever used, highly recommended.
well-made, warm, keeps the water out, great people!
I had Reed custom-make my seasock six years ago to fit my Folbot Cooper, a folding sea kayak company that is no longer in business. It fit perfectly and has performed well ever since its purchase (which was remote from the States!). The folks at Reed were super helpful, and precise and wanted me to be satisfied. I'm going to next order a custom sprayskirt.
Work well. So far used them twice in flat water K2 winter kayaking with multiple portages (DW style training) on the Avon and Kennet canal.
Comfortable. Good weather proofing. Just warm enough at 5 degrees C (making a decent effort) with a very thin (125 merino) thermal top though next time I will wear a warmer thermal at 5-10 degree. I am now much less concerned about immersion than I would be with standard gear - the perennial DW winter/ night training anxiety. After a 3 hour moderately intense session my thermal was nearly dry. The fabric does not hold much water so dries quickly/ could be wiped down if in a tent/ expedition ready for the next day.

Bought these to go inside my motorcycle trials boots. Used them yesterday for the first time and they worked perfectly. Feet were perfectly dry and warm all day even when walking through Yorkshire rivers in December. They are so comfortable too.
I have only worn them once so far for rowing, but found them to fit well and they were really waterproof - a blessing when the water is very cold at this time of the year. They were quick and easy to take on and off. I'm very pleased with them.
