How to order a spray deck

To help you get the right fit, we offer eight standard cockpit sizes, and if your kayak doesn’t match one of those, we can create something bespoke just for you.

We’ve been making custom gear for over 25 years, and we’ve built up a vast library of kayak templates to work from. All we need are a few key measurements to get started. It’s not a complicated process, but it’s worth taking a few minutes to gather the right details first... After all, the right fit means staying warmer, drier, and more comfortable out there.

Below, you’ll find everything you need to measure, select, and customise your deck. And if anything feels unclear, don’t worry, our team is just a call or email away.

  • Where to measure length, width and seat position for your bespoke spraydeck.

    Bespoke spray decks

    If your cockpit isn’t one of the standard decks, or if you are not sure, we can make a bespoke deck for you. We have a vast database of templates so before you start your order, you will need the following information to hand:

    • Your kayak make and model – include all details such as HV/MV/LV etc
    • What your kayak is made of – Composite (fibreglass) /PE(polyethylene)/Plastic
    • Cockpit length and width measurements (taken to the outside edge of the cockpit rim)
    • Seat Back position – the distance from the top of the back of your seat to the outer edge of the cockpit rim

2. Select your deck size

if you are unsure, please select 'I don't know' from the deck size options and continue to fill in the form further down the page.

3. Select your Waist tube size

Use the size chart link to check your waist size.

4. Select your colour

We have 3 to choose from!

5. Select add-ons (optional)

6. Fill in the form with all the details you have gathered.

This is compulsory. If you know your deck is standard, e.g. Keyhole B, you can just put a 0 (zero) in the measurement boxes

7. Add any additional requirements
